KU announces to set up medical college

KARACHI: Karachi University (KU) on Tuesday announced to set up its own medical college where admissions for the maiden session will open from November 2014.

According to sources, a meeting of KU syndicate held here today reached the decision to establish a medical college within the premises of the university.

Admissions to 100 students will be given while medical classes for the first batch will commence from January, 2015.

In the next phase, a hospital laced with 100 beds will also be constructed within KU premises.
